Different companies can order and sell the same product under their own name. This is allowed. Therefore you can have the same OEM part, but with different company name labels on them. Often this will affect the price, but the main thing to look out for it that it is a genuine OEM Accessory.
The discount auto accessories industry is very competitive and there is a healthy secondary market. You can check out the local salvage yard or auto parts shop but if you need something major like a radiator, there are entire networks of salvage yards and garages that you can post what you need and they will find it for you. Then you can decide on the best deal and then the part is delivered to your door. In most cases, it is at least as cheap as having to find and remove the part yourself at some obscure salvage yard and not have the right tools. It’s a lot less messy and the part is torn up before you get it.
It does not hurt to post your own ad stating to others that you are seeking a classic car. This way you can list the make and model and even the year. If anyone with that car is trying to get rid of one, you may find yourself in luck. If you put yourself out there then at least you are making your request public. You might be surprised how often reverse advertising works for people.
Kids play, and can be quite mischievous. They play hide and go seek, soldiers, etc. They sometimes get themselves into trouble by crawling into places that they shouldn’t be in. This means that when you have an old appliance like a refrigerator, freezer or dryer somewhere near to where the kids play, these can be very inviting places to hide. However this can result serious injury, or worse… death to one of these innocent children.

Does not sound like much but it is easy to get a 100 pounds of scrap. For example; a refrigerator, washer, microwave, futon, hot water heater, and five bikes weigh about 800 pounds. That is $48.00 tax free!
There are many outsourcing sites online that are search engines to find just about any part you need. No more going to the junkyard to find that old part that you need to keep your cars running. You just need to visit your computer and find a site and find the part.

Compare Prices: You may be tempted to buy from the first online auto parts store that you come across, but don’t. At least not until you have done some «comparison shopping». The web is full of delicious deals. The main reason being that you can easily check out a company’s competitors at the push of a button. You don’t have to drive down any road or travel any length of miles to do that.
