‘I wasn’t thinking straight’: Francine Lewis has forgiven her ‘cheating’ husband Joel Ryan and confirmed the couple of 22-years will not be getting a divorce
Speaking at Thursday’s London Lifestyle Awards, Francine said: ‘Initially, that’s what I thought.I thought I’m telling everyone now because there’s no going back and that helped me.
‘But obviously I wasn’t thinking straight, I was angry, and I didn’t know all the details and the facts at that point… it had just been 24 hours.
‘There were messages and no affair… I have no proof of anything else.’
In April, during an appearance on GB News to discuss fraud, Francine revealed: ‘Last night, I found out that he was cheating on me with his best friend’s girlfriend.I wish I had gone there and then because he put me in that situation and now, he’s put me in this situation. I’m devastated.

Reliving the moment she discovered that Joel had been disloyal, Francine previously admitted ‘I thought I was going to collapse’, saying she was ‘screaming’ and calling him every name.
She was sent incriminating messages that made her believe Joel and the other woman, who remains unnamed, had been sleeping together behind her back.
However, she now says there was ‘no affair’ and has ‘no proof’ that Joel had sexual relations with his friend’s partner – beyond the ‘crude’ text messages he sent back in March.
Speaking to the Daily Mail in April, she said: ‘When I read the texts he’d sent her I wanted to throw up.I don’t want to reveal what was in them – that’s not fair on my children – but let’s just say they were enough for me to want to end my marriage. There was intimate conversation and there were also deleted texts from him so I can only imagine what was sent.’
