An Aussie company has flown its entire team to Bali for a ‘working holiday’ complete with yoga, sunrise hikes and cocktails by the pool.
Sydney-based marketing firm decided to take remote working to the next level by swapping the office for a luxury villa in the heart of Ubud, one hour north of Denpasar.
Employees took part in team-bonding activities like swimming, snorkelling and quad-bike riding in a bid to improve team morale while also allocating time to get work done.

Katya Vakulenko, Managing Director at Soup, described the 14-day work trip as the best team-building experience at the agency since its launch.
‘I think it’s important for workplaces to all work together as a team, both inside and outside of working hours,’ she said.
‘Covid-19 taught us that there are new ways of working and essentially, we can work from anywhere.
‘So we decided to really take that to the next level.’
In footage of the ‘working holiday’ the team enjoy fresh seafood, yoga classes, sunrise hikes and cocktails while also attending meetings in the villa.
As a young company with several team members working remotely, the agency said it was interested in challenging the notion of a traditional corporate office.

The team even celebrated a birthday on the trip, with Michelle from digital marketing living it up for her 24th birthday with an early morning hike up a volcano.
Digital Marketing Executive Kumi Ho said despite the obvious distractions, the team were able to stay productive and manage their workloads on the party island.
