Arizer Solo vs Arizer Solo 2: Sibling Rivalry Showdown

How Long Does A Dab Pen Last? - GreentankI got my Solo II At the very beginning of 2018 and it’s lasted beautifully with everyday use, sometimes multiple times a day. Fast forward to last Friday and I got an error code and it stopped working. I thought about switching to another vaporizer but with the WPA, this thing is unbeatable. It’s not the most discreet, but that’s my only negative for it through four years of continuous use. Highly recommend if you’d like to conserve + enjoy the taste of your material.

The Arizer Solo 2 is well built and its top and bottom are sealed with brushed stainless steel. You’ll enjoy its well improved dab pen battery rick and morty wallpaper computer life, durability, tip-top functionality, and ease of use. The vapor of the Solo 2 is smooth, pure, and cool all because of the hybrid heating system and the borosilicate mouthpieces. The reason is that the mouthpieces provide a lengthy air path that cools down the vapor and keeps it pure. The longer mouthpiece is better for keeping the vapor cool because of its length. The vapor does feel warmer with the shorter mouthpiece, so that’s something you need to keep in mind when deciding which mouthpiece to use.

Products sold at Planet of the Vapes are not designed or sold for use with tobacco, nicotine products, or as a tobacco substitute. This vape has wonderful taste, and amazing battery life. The clouds are impressive for amount of material used. This is the one to use if you like to micro dose or quick session.

After 12 minutes of use, the Solo will shut off to help with battery life. I personally like the 12-minute timer since that is about the length of a session. I don’t have a problem with turning on my vapes and forgetting about them, so I generally am more annoyed when a vape shuts off every minute or two. Then I have to turn it back on a half dozen times during a session. The Solo V1 was a game changing portable vaporizer when it was released. Compact size, solid design, true temp control, steel bowl, glass for inhaling.

While other conduction vaporizers have lackluster flavour, that’s not the case here. Arguably the biggest upgrade that the original Arizer Solo vaporizer got in Solo 2 was turning its 7 temperature lights into a bright LED display. The navigation buttons are found below the LED display, around the central Menu button (marked «M»). The Menu button makes navigation easy and straightforward, and gives you many customization options. Turn on the vaporizer by simply pressing and holding the Menu button along with the up button. The up and down arrow buttons are used for increasing and decreasing the temperature or for changing the settings in the menu.

The Solo is not as portable and discrete as I would like. If I had to take a vaporizer with me on a trip or out hiking/biking, I would much rather take one of the smaller units without glass. Another great feature of the Solo is the seven different heat levels. I prefer to start a freshly packed stem at levels 3-5, depending on my mood, and then climb to 6 towards the end of my session.

The exception is Arizer Go, which has a different glass stem size. These are the Glass Aroma Tube replacements for the Arizer Solo I and II portable vaporizer, made of hardened glass and measured to precision. These are the Glass Aroma Tube replacements for the Arizer Solo portable vaporizer, made of hardened glass and measured to precision. The Solo 2 is a little on the large side for a portable, it won’t fit in your pocket, but it fits just fine in a purse or a backpack. So it’s better suited to at-home vaping as opposed to taking it out on a hike or any other outdoor activity, especially since you have to worry about that long glass stem.

Storz & Bickel does seem to have fixed up any issues with the Mighty and Crafty though so don’t worry about that. The OLED screen will let you know the current and set temperature as well as the battery life. The display allows you to adjust the volume of the beeps , brightness and Celsius/Fahrenheit settings.

Arizer actually prefer a bit looser to help with air flow, a tight fit is not necessarily ideal for vapor production. The Solo 2 is a big improvement over the original Solo, especially when it comes to the airflow. You really don’t get that milkshake type pull from the Solo 2, the unit heats up in 30 seconds, and the precise temperature control and increased temperature range are nice additions. If you have loved your Solo, you should be more than happy with the Solo 2. The glass stems / aroma tubes / mouthpieces on the Solo 2 have remained virtually the same as on the original . The Solo 2 comes with two different sized stems included.

It’s also one of the most reliable portable vaporizers but not the best for actual portability. Unfortunately the Solo II has one significant design drawback, which make the glass aroma tube fall out if not held upright. If you prefer a unit that is more portable with better vapor quality, a convection vaporizer like the Utillian 620 may be better as it has a glass mouthpiece that is more secure than of the Solo 2. The one on the Arizer Solo 2 is so minor that many may consider it unimportant, but this is not the case. The new unit has the ever-famous Arizer all-glass vapour path, and boasts a LED display and precise temperature control, too. To make it easy and as enjoyable as possible to use, the Solo 2 comes with a centre «Menu» button that allows you to view and select its various settings, customizing the unit to your preferences.
