The singer, 38, has allegedly teamed up with the streaming service to delve into how she got her big break in the music industry with a series of clips and footage.
Following a turbulent love life filled with high-profile break-ups, the new release is said to also be looking back at Avril’s relationships over the years.
Sharing that there is ‘a lot to talk about’, sources are said to have confirmed the news to this week.

An insider told the publication: ‘Avril has been hard at work on this in-depth documentary for a while now and the makers have hundreds of hours of footage.
‘She talks at length about her life in the film, from how she got her break in music.Some of her showbiz pals will also be in the film talking about her.
They continued: ‘Avril was a teenager when she released her hit debut album so her career has been really interest- ing. There’s a lot to talk about.’

It’s thought that this new documentary will delve into the singer’s very-public array of romances.
She was famously married to Sum 41 star Deryck Whibley from 2006 to 2009 after meeting when she was just 17 years old and tying the knot at 21, while he was three years her senior.
Avril then had a marriage to Nickelback’s lead singer Chad Kroeger from 2013 to 2015.

Avril seemingly confirmed a blossoming romance with the Rack City rapper after they were pictured locking lips at the Mugler X Hunter Schafer party during Paris Fashion Week.
Avril was seen kissing Tyga, and the pair were spotted holding hands at the event.An insider told PEOPLE magazine: ‘Tyga and Avril are getting to know each other. It’s very new. It’s very casual.’
Last month, it was revealed Avril’s engagement with Mod Sun had ended after less than a year.
The pair started dating in 2021 and became engaged during a trip to Paris, France in March, 2022, and were last seen together at a pre-Grammy Awards event in Los Angeles earlier this month.
Shortly after the split was revealed, the rapper’s representative suggested he was blindsided by the news.
A spokesperson told Page Six : z ‘They were together and engaged as of three days ago when he left for tour so if anything has changed that’s news to him.’
