A guest at a luxury hotel has died days after she was found floating unconscious in the resort pool.
The woman, 61, was pulled from the water after being discovered by staff at the Ville Resort-Casino in Townsville, at around 10.20am on Saturday.
Workers desperately gave her CPR before she was rushed to hospital in a critical condition.

However, local police confirmed on Tuesday morning that the woman has now died.
Her identity has not yet been revealed.
It is unknown how she ended up in the water or what caused her to lose consciousness.
Detective Acting Inspector Chris Hicks Townsville Crime Services described the death as a tragedy.
‘We extend our deepest sympathies to the family.It is a tragedy,’ he said.
‘As a result of that the forensic crash unit and kıbrıs bahis siteleri Workplace Health and Safety investigators are investigating this matter and are preparing a report to the coroner.’

‘The Ville is working with all authorities investigating the incident and kıbrıs bahis siteleri is supporting the guest’s family through this difficult time.
‘Our thoughts are with the guest and their family.’
